The **Setup guide** card sits at the top of your **Dashboard**. It has 3 steps: **Connect your store**, **Upload a Logo** and **Configure account**. Most stores finish it in a few minutes.

## Step 1: Connect your store

This step completes by itself. RocketCart connects your store during the install, and the step then reads “We’ve detected and connected to your Shopify store automatically.”

If the step stays open and the status in the Dashboard header says **Disconnected**:

1. Click **Connect now** in the Dashboard header.
2. Wait a few seconds for the status to change to **Connected**.

## Step 2: Upload a Logo

Your logo appears at the top of every recovery email.

1. Click **Choose Logo**.
2. Pick a JPG or PNG file of 1 MB or less.
3. Click **Save Logo**.
4. Click **Next**.

The step ticks off as soon as a logo is saved. If you remove the logo later, the step opens again. Tips on file size and shape are in [logo and branding](/docs/settings/logo-and-branding/).

## Step 3: Configure account

This step lists 5 checkpoints. Each open checkpoint has a **Fix** button that takes you to **Settings** > **Branding**.

| Checkpoint | How to tick it off |
| --- | --- |
| **Connected to RocketCart** | Done by step 1 |
| **Logo uploaded** | Done by step 2 |
| **Business address added** | Fill in **Business Address** in **Settings** > **Branding** |
| **Terms and privacy links added** | Fill in both **Terms URL** and **Privacy Policy URL** |
| **At least one social link added** | Fill in any one social link, for example Instagram |

The address and links appear in the footer of your recovery emails. After you fill them in, click **Save** in the bar at the top of Settings.

When you are done, go back to the **Dashboard** and click **Mark complete**.

Note

**Mark complete** closes the whole guide, even if some checkpoints are still open. The X button (**Skip onboarding**) does the same. Both only hide the guide. Recovery runs either way.

## What replaces the setup guide?

Once the guide is complete or skipped, an **App status** card takes its place. It shows the badge **Active** and “Recovery automation is active and running in the background.” The **View settings** button opens **Settings**.
