RocketCart adds two app embeds to your theme: **Campaign Tracking** and **Back in stock button**. Both are off until you switch them on in the theme editor. Neither has settings, and recovery emails work without them.

## Which embed do I need?

| App embed | What it does | Turn it on if |

| Campaign Tracking | Counts store visits from your WhatsApp campaigns and credits the orders that follow | You send [WhatsApp broadcasts](/docs/campaigns/whatsapp-broadcasts/) |
| Back in stock button | Shows a “Notify me when available” button on sold-out products | You use [back in stock alerts](/docs/back-in-stock/set-up-back-in-stock/) |

The embeds don’t track abandoned carts. RocketCart gets those from Shopify, so you can leave both off if you only use recovery.

## How do I turn on the Back in stock button?

1. In RocketCart, open **Back in stock**.
2. Click **Widget inactive** at the top of the page. Your theme editor opens in a new tab, on **App embeds**.
3. Switch on **Back in stock button**.
4. Click **Save** in the theme editor.
5. Go back to the RocketCart tab. The button now reads **Widget active**.

## How do I turn on Campaign Tracking?

1. In RocketCart, open **Campaigns**.
2. Find the **Campaign tracking** tile next to the figures at the top and click **Activate**. Your theme editor opens in a new tab.
3. Switch on **Campaign Tracking**.
4. Click **Save** in the theme editor.

Note

The theme editor is the place to check. If the toggle there is on and saved, the embed works, even if the tile in RocketCart still says “Not enabled in your theme.”

Tip

The embeds are switched on per theme. If you publish a different theme later, switch them on there as well.
