RocketCart has two plans: **Free** and **Pro**. Pro costs $29.99 per month and starts with a 30-day free trial. You change plans on Shopify’s own plan page, and the charge appears on your Shopify bill.

## What is the difference between Free and Pro?

| | Free | Pro |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Price | $0 | $29.99/month |
| Free trial | | 30 days |
| Abandoned cart emails | Yes | Yes |
| WhatsApp recovery, campaigns and back-in-stock alerts | Yes | Yes |
| Dashboard and statistics | Yes | Yes |
| Your own sending domain | No | Yes |
| Plan card on the Dashboard | Tracks your first $100 of recovered revenue | Tracks your recovered revenue against the $29.99 plan cost |

In the app, the one feature that needs Pro is your own sending domain. On Free, recovery emails go out from RocketCart’s shared address.

On the Free plan, **Custom Domain Configuration** under **Settings > Email Settings** is blurred and shows an **Upgrade your plan** button. See [Set up a custom sending domain](/docs/sending-domain/set-up-sending-domain/).

## How does the $100 on the Free plan work?

On the Free plan, the Dashboard shows a card titled “Reach your first $100 free recovery limit”. It says: “You’re on the free recovery limit. Recovering $100 proves the value before you upgrade.”

The bar fills up with the revenue RocketCart recovered for you. It is marked **$100 free limit**, with **Upgrade to continue recovery** after it. The **Continue recovery** button opens Shopify’s plan page.

For how the recovered revenue in this card is counted, see [How the ROI estimate is calculated](/docs/dashboard/roi-estimate/).

## Where do I see my current plan?

At the top of the **Dashboard**, under **Your plan**. Next to the plan name are the days left in your trial or current billing period, for example “Free · 6 days left”.

On the Free plan, the same banner shows **Recommended upgrade** with the Pro price and an **Upgrade** button.

## How do I upgrade to Pro?

1. In RocketCart, click **Plans** in the app menu. You can also click **Upgrade** on the Dashboard banner, **Continue recovery** on the plan card, or **Upgrade your plan** in Settings.
2. Shopify’s plan page for RocketCart opens.
3. Choose **Pro**.
4. Approve the charge on the Shopify screen that follows.

The 30-day trial starts right away. Shopify bills the $29.99 per month on your regular Shopify invoice after the trial ends.

## How do I downgrade or cancel?

- **To go back to Free:** click **Plans** in the app menu and choose **Free** on Shopify’s plan page. If a Pro subscription is cancelled or expires, RocketCart puts the store back on Free.
- **To stop using RocketCart:** uninstall the app. Shopify says uninstalling a paid app cancels future recurring charges, but you might still be billed for the current billing cycle. See [Uninstall RocketCart](/docs/plans-and-billing/uninstall-rocketcart/).

RocketCart has no billing screen of its own. Payment methods and invoices are managed in your Shopify admin, under **Settings > Billing**.

## Who pays for WhatsApp messages?

Meta does the billing for WhatsApp, not RocketCart. As the app puts it: “Meta bills you directly at standard rates, with no markup or per-message commission from RocketCart.” This is the same on Free and Pro. See [WhatsApp costs and limits](/docs/whatsapp/whatsapp-costs-and-limits/).
