You uninstall RocketCart in the Shopify admin, under **Settings > Apps**. Uninstalling cancels future RocketCart charges. If you only want to stop paying for Pro, you can switch to the Free plan instead and keep the app.

## How do I uninstall RocketCart?

1. In your Shopify admin, go to **Settings > Apps**.
2. Find **RocketCart** in the list and click the menu icon (**⋯**) next to it.
3. Click **Uninstall**.
4. Optional: choose a reason under **Reason for uninstalling**.
5. Click **Uninstall** to confirm.

RocketCart disappears from your app list and from the Shopify admin sidebar.

## What happens to my subscription?

Shopify handles RocketCart’s billing. Shopify says uninstalling a paid app cancels future recurring charges, but you might still be billed for the current billing cycle.

## What should I check before I uninstall?

- **Shopify’s own abandoned checkout email.** If you turned it off to avoid double reminders, turn it back on after you uninstall, so shoppers still get a reminder. See [Shopify’s and Klaviyo’s abandoned cart emails](/docs/getting-started/shopify-and-klaviyo-emails/).
- **Your sending domain records.** If you set up your own sending domain, the SPF, DKIM and DMARC records stay at your DNS provider. You can remove `include:mailgun.org` from your SPF record and delete the `<selector>._domainkey` record. Keep your DMARC record if other email services rely on it.
- **Numbers you want to keep.** Write down or screenshot any figures from the RocketCart Dashboard you want for your records before you uninstall.

## What stays in my Shopify store?

- **Your logo file.** RocketCart saved your logo in your Shopify store under **Content > Files**. It stays there until you delete it.
- **Discount codes.** Codes RocketCart created for recovery emails stay in Shopify under **Discounts**. They expire one day after they were created.
- **Order tags.** Orders RocketCart recovered through an email keep the tag “✅ Recovered by rocketcart”.

Your WhatsApp Business account and phone number are yours at Meta. Uninstalling RocketCart doesn’t delete them.

## Can I reinstall later?

Yes. Install RocketCart again from the Shopify App Store and choose a plan on Shopify’s plan page. See [Install RocketCart on Shopify](/docs/getting-started/install-rocketcart-on-shopify/).
