RocketCart puts your logo, your legal and social links and your business address in every abandoned cart email it sends. You set all of them on the **Branding** tab in **Settings**. The logo must be a JPG or PNG file of 1 MB or less.

## Where does my logo show up?

Your logo appears in the recovery emails RocketCart sends to shoppers who left a checkout. It is not used in WhatsApp messages.

The links and the business address go in the email footer.

## How do I upload my logo?

You can upload it in two places. Both save the same logo.

**From the setup guide (on the Dashboard):**

1. Open RocketCart and go to **Dashboard**.
2. In the **Setup guide**, open the step **Upload a Logo**.
3. Click **Choose Logo** and pick the file.
4. Click **Save Logo**. The upload happens right away.

**From Settings:**

1. Go to **Settings**.
2. Open the **Branding** tab.
3. In the **Logo** section, click **Choose Logo** and pick the file.
4. Click **Save** in the bar at the top of the page. The logo uploads when you save.

When the upload has finished, you see a preview of the logo and a **Remove Logo** button.

Note

RocketCart stores the logo as a file in your own Shopify store (**Content > Files** in the Shopify admin). If you click **Remove Logo**, RocketCart stops using it, but the file stays in Shopify Files until you delete it there.

## What logo file works best?

| What | Use | Why |
| --- | --- | --- |
| File type | PNG or JPG | These are the only types RocketCart accepts. |
| Background | PNG with a transparent background | JPG has no transparency, so a logo saved as JPG shows its background colour as a box. |
| File size | Well under 1 MB | 1 MB is the limit. A logo rarely needs more than 100 KB, and smaller files load faster in email apps. |
| Shape | A horizontal version of your logo, if you have one | Wide logos stay readable in the narrow header of an email on a phone. |
| Detail | Your logo without small text or a tagline | Fine text gets hard to read when the logo is shown small. |

## How do I add my links and business address?

1. Go to **Settings** and open the **Branding** tab.
2. Under **Links**, fill in **Terms URL** and **Privacy Policy URL**.
3. Add any social profiles you have: **Facebook**, **Instagram**, **Twitter / X**, **LinkedIn**, **YouTube**, **TikTok**. Leave the others empty.
4. Under **Business Address**, type your address. The field takes several lines, for example street, city, postcode and country.
5. Click **Save** in the bar at the top of the page.

You see **Settings saved successfully** when it worked. To undo changes you have not saved, click **Discard**.

Each link must be a full web address that starts with `https://`. For example, `https://instagram.com/yourstore` works, `instagram.com/yourstore` does not.

Tip

The setup guide’s **Configure account** step checks these fields: a logo, a business address, both the terms and privacy links, and at least one social link. Filling them in ticks off those checkpoints. See [The RocketCart setup guide](/docs/getting-started/setup-guide/).

## What do the error messages mean?

| Message | What to do |
| --- | --- |
| **Please upload a JPG or PNG image file** | The file is another type (for example SVG, WebP or GIF). Export your logo as PNG or JPG and try again. |
| **File size must be less than or equal to 1MB** | Make the file smaller, for example by exporting it at a smaller width. |
| **File is still processing. Please try again later.** | Shopify has not finished storing the file. Wait a minute and save again. |
| **Upload failed. Please try again.** | Try once more. If it keeps failing, try a different file. |
| **Invalid URL format** | A link is missing `https://`. Type the full address. |
