The **Campaign tracking** card on the **Campaigns** page says **Not enabled in your theme.** when RocketCart can’t find its Campaign Tracking app embed in your live theme. Click **Activate**, turn on **Campaign Tracking** in the theme editor and click **Save**.

## What does it look like?

On the **Campaigns** page, the **Campaign tracking** card shows **Not enabled in your theme.** and an **Activate** link. Its tooltip says: “Enable the Campaign Tracking app embed in your theme to get full campaign analytics: storefront visits, orders and revenue attributed to each campaign.”

## Why does it matter?

When a shopper taps a link in one of your WhatsApp campaigns, the app embed notes which campaign they came from and adds it to their cart. Orders from that cart are then credited to the campaign for 7 days after the click.

Without the embed, RocketCart can still credit an order by matching the shopper’s phone number within 3 days after the message was delivered. But storefront visits and click-based orders are missing from your campaign results. See [Campaign results](/docs/campaigns/campaign-results/).

Abandoned cart recovery doesn’t use this embed.

## How do I turn it on?

1. In RocketCart, go to **Campaigns**.
2. On the **Campaign tracking** card, click **Activate**. The theme editor opens on the **App embeds** list. (Or go to **Online Store > Themes**, click **Customize** on your live theme and open **App embeds** in the left sidebar.)
3. Turn on **Campaign Tracking**.
4. Click **Save**.

## The card still says “Not enabled in your theme.” What now?

1. Reload the **Campaigns** page. The card reads the status again.
2. Open the theme editor for your **live** theme and look at **App embeds**. App embeds are set per theme, so turning it on in a draft theme doesn’t count.
3. If **Campaign Tracking** is on there and the theme is saved, the embed is working. The theme editor is the reliable place to check.

If you switch to a new theme later, turn the embed on in that theme too.
